Monochrome printing can still be done on Brother colour laser machines when any of the Cyan, Magenta or Yellow toner cartridges runs low or is empty.

Documents and images stored in a PC can be faxed directly without the need for printing. No printing means no paper use – thus saving the environment and saving costs.

As for incoming faxes, PC-Fax stores them in its memory even when the user’s PC is turned off. When the PC is switched back on, user can choose to print or discard any faxes without having to print them out. These digital features provide convenience while eliminating toner and paper wastage.

Brother machines come equipped with a function that allows entry of a time period after which the Sleep mode will be activated. This function complies with the standards of the International Energy Star Program.

Operate the printer in the Toner Save mode to control toner consumption when trial printing or printing for personal use.
