Value-Added Service: Pickup and Delivery Services Terms and Conditions:

Customers who have purchased and registered for warranty for Brother Printer and Sewing Machines, and have joined our “Value-Added Service”, are entitled for “Free Pick-up and Delivery Services”. Please refer to below terms and conditions.

This “Value-Added Pickup and Delivery Services” is only applied to the selected printers and sewing machines models (depends on the warranty plan) within the warranty period and customers need to registered for this Value-Added Service  For products out of warranty period and have not joined this Value-Added Service, an additional charge is needed.

For Sewing machine, the “Value-Added Service” plan included annual maintenance service that covers up to 3 times for pickup and delivery roundtrip service.  For every repair job after joined the “Value-Added Service” plan, BIHK offers one month guarantee period - pickup and delivery service can be waived on same symptom after repairing. After the guarantee period – BIHK shall count as a new job and count one pickup and delivery roundtrip service within the plan.

Without prejudice to the aforesaid, Brother International (HK) Limited (BIHK) reserves its right to charge for repairing service at any reasonable and appropriate time to be decided by BIHK, and the plan covered specific locations in Hong Kong only, some of locations are not covered as follows: 

  • On-site pick-up and delivery services are only available to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories but not to Outlying Islands (Except Tung Chung in Lantau Island), restricted areas, construction sites, and Macau. Specific area likes, Discovery Bay will have additional charge HK$100 per visit.
  • For buildings without elevator, free of charge for first 7 steps, and additional HK$30 per machine per 20 steps.

The time for pick-up and delivery shall be subject to BIHK’s final decision on the availability and practicability.  Customers who have joined “Value-Added Service” plan, Free pick-up and delivery service will be provided once at first appointed schedule (per service job). Otherwise, a service charge of HK$150 will be applied to re-arrangement for every single pick-up/delivery service.  The amounts shown above are service fees chargeable per unit of product. Where an order contains more than one unit of product, service fee will be charged according to the units of products picked up/delivered.

For Machines that need to repair but have not joined “Value-Added Service” and out of warranty period, a pickup and delivery service will be charged HK$300 per time, and HK$300-$500 for inspection & repair fee will be collected during the on-site pick-up service. The Machine will be delivered back to you free of charge upon completion of the repair service. The inspection fee will be deducted from the repair service charge and the balance of the repair service charge will be collected upon delivery of machine back to customers (Accepts Cash Only).
