Brother Commercial Embroidery Machine Rental Service Terms & Conditions

By using the Brother Commercial Embroidery Machine Rental Service, your company confirms that it has carefully read, fully understood, and unconditionally agrees to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

 

Rental Responsibilities
The Renter (Customer) shall be solely responsible for the safekeeping, proper use, and venue safety of the equipment, including staff operation and customer safety. Brother International (Hong Kong) Limited shall not be liable for any loss, damage, theft of the equipment, or personal injury arising from any cause during the rental period.

Compensation for Damage or Loss
In the event of damage to or loss of the machine or any accessories, the Renter shall compensate Brother in full based on the prevailing replacement price (accessories charged separately).

Security Deposit
The Renter shall pay a refundable security deposit 15 days prior to the event start date: HK$38,000.
Payment may be made by bank transfer, cheque, or FPS. The deposit will be fully refunded without interest within 15 working days after the equipment is returned in perfect condition and inspected by Brother technical staff.

Quality of Embroidered Products & Backup Materials
The rental service does not include quality inspection of finished embroidered items. The Renter must prepare at least 15% backup materials to allow immediate replacement in case of defects or damage discovered during embroidery.

Photo & Video Authorisation
The Renter grants Brother the irrevocable, royalty-free right to use any photos, videos, embroidered products, the Renter’s brand logo and company name taken or created during the rental period for any commercial, marketing, or promotional purposes worldwide.

Delivery & Collection
Standard delivery and collection (within 3 CBM, covering the embroidery machine, all frames, basic consumables and accessories) are included in the quotation. Standard service hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–17:00 (excluding public holidays). Out-of-hours, weekend, public holiday delivery/collection or staircase carrying will incur additional charges (to be agreed separately).

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 10 or more working days before event start: 80% of deposit refunded
Cancellation 5–9 working days before event start : 50% of deposit refunded
Cancellation less than 5 working days before the event: deposit non-refundable

 

Brother International (HK) Limited reserves the right of final interpretation and amendment of these Terms & Conditions at any time. In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
